Due to a potential health risk, St. James Smokehouse voluntarily recalled Smoked Salmon in the USA Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and occasionally fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and other individuals with weakened immune systems. Because of the potential for Listeria monocytogenes contamination, St. James Smokehouse of Miami, Florida is voluntarily recalling 93 cases of Scotch Reserve Scottish Smoked Salmon, 4oz Packages. Albertson’s food company recalled Ready meals seafood due to undeclared allergens Albertsons Companies announced that it is extending its voluntary recall scheduled for July 19, 2022. Due to allergies not disclosed on the ingredient labels, Ready Meals seafood foods are disclaimed. The recall was started after an internal technical evaluation discovered missing allergen-containing substances. It is being carried out in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
