Northern Foods has recalled Sweetened Jujube in the USA due to undeclared sulfites.

Northern Food is recalling packs of Lukai sweetened jujube because they may contain undeclared sulfites. The product was distributed nationwide. The product comes in an 8.3 ounce red and yellow plastic package.

The recall was started after regular sampling by food inspectors from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and subsequent investigation by staff from the Food Laboratory. They discovered that the sulfite-containing product was sold in containers that did not indicate that sulfites were present.
