Deano’s Pasta of Somerville, Massachusetts, is recalling 20 pounds of Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli because the product may contain undeclared lobster.
The recall poses a serious risk to people with an allergy or severe sensitivity to crustacean shellfish, including lobster. Consumption of the affected product could result in a serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reaction.
The recalled Deano’s Pasta Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli was distributed through retail stores in Massachusetts between August 8 and September 22, 2026.

The recall was initiated after a customer complaint prompted an internal audit by the company. The investigation found that ravioli containing lobster had been distributed in packaging that did not declare the presence of the crustacean allergen.
According to the company, the issue was linked to a temporary breakdown in its production and packaging processes.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled ravioli to date.
However, people with a lobster or crustacean shellfish allergy should not consume the product because exposure can trigger reactions ranging from hives and swelling to difficulty breathing and anaphylaxis.
Consumers who purchased the affected Deano’s Pasta Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli should not eat the product.
They should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it safely.
