Gummy Gainz has issued a nationwide recall of multiple Protein Candy products after it was discovered that they contain milk that is not properly declared on the product labels, posing a serious health risk to individuals with milk allergies or sensitivities.
The recall affects 17 varieties of Gummy Gainz Protein Candy sold in 49 g and 6 × 49 g pack sizes through retail stores and online across Canada. The affected flavours include Fruit Salad, Blue Raspberry, Fuzzy Peach, Green Apple, Sour Watermelon, and Sour Peach, among others. All affected products are included in the recall where milk is not declared on the label, regardless of code.
Milk is a priority food allergen, and consumption of these products by individuals allergic or sensitive to milk may result in serious or life-threatening allergic reactions.
