Lidl GB has issued a recall of Meadow Fresh Potato Salad products due to the possible presence of copper fragments, which makes these items unsafe for consumption. The affected products include the Meadow Fresh Potato Salad with Yoghurt and Meadow Fresh Potato Salad with Crème Fraîche, both packaged in 500g containers.

The Meadow Fresh Potato Salad with Yoghurt is impacted across multiple use-by dates, including December 7, 13, 14, 16, and 21, 2024. Similarly, the Meadow Fresh Potato Salad with Crème Fraîche is affected for use-by dates of December 12, 16, and 23, 2024.

As a precautionary measure, Lidl GB has removed the products from store shelves and is displaying point-of-sale notices in all affected retail locations. These notices provide detailed guidance to customers, explaining the recall and advising on next steps.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled potato salads are urged not to eat them. Instead, they should return the items to the store where they were bought for a full refund.
