The recall was voluntarily initiated by Agropur and involves two-litre cartons of milk distributed across Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec, with one product sold nationwide in Canada.

• 3.25% Homogenized Milk

Most products carry best-before dates ranging from late March to early April 2026.

Natrel Brand (2-litre cartons)
Distributed nationally across Canada:

• 1% Lactose-Free Chocolate Partly Skimmed Milk

Best-before dates range from early April to mid-May 2026.

Québon Brand (2-litre cartons)
Distributed in Quebec:

• 2% Chocolate Partly Skimmed Milk

Best-before dates include March 25 and several dates in April 2026.

Reason for Recall

The recall was issued due to the possible presence of glass, which poses a potential safety risk if consumed.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, a food safety investigation is currently underway. The agency is also verifying that all recalled products are being removed from the marketplace.

Consumer Advice

Consumers are advised not to consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute the affected milk products. Recalled items should either be disposed of or returned to the place of purchase.

Agropur confirmed that the recalled milk products were manufactured at its Bedford, Nova Scotia processing facility.
