Due to cross-contamination with Cronobacter sakazakii bacteria, two batches of Enfamil ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula has been recalled in the USA.
There have been no reported cases of illness. Though infections are uncommon, Cronobacter bacteria can result in sepsis and meningitis.
Parents are advised to speak with their pediatrician about issues or call Reckitt at 1-800-479-0551. ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula buyers should look at the bottom of the can to see if the batch number is impacted.
