Morrisons is recalling its Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken products due to the potential presence of small pieces of metal, making these products unsafe to eat. The recall applies to all use-by dates up to and including June 16, 2024.

Affected Products:

  • Morrisons Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken (400g)
    • Best Before Dates: All use by dates up to and including 16 June 2024
  • Morrisons Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken (170g)
    • Best Before Dates: All use by dates up to and including 16 June 2024

Risk Statement: The presence of metal pieces in these products poses a safety risk and makes them unsafe to eat.

Action Taken by Morrisons: Morrisons is actively recalling the affected products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that sold these products. These notices will inform customers about the recall and advise them on what actions to take if they have purchased the affected products.

Consumer Advice: Customers who have purchased the affected Morrisons Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken products are advised not to eat them. Instead, they should return the products to the store from which they were purchased for a full refund.
