The issue arose because the Value brand Cranberry Nut Mix was incorrectly packaged as Value brand Roasted & Salted Cashew Nuts.

• Packaging: Sold in a 500g plastic bag.
• Distribution: The affected product is sold at Four Square, New World, and Pak’nSave stores across New Zealand. The product has not been exported.

Important Notes:

• No other Value brand products are affected by this recall.

Consumer Advice: Consumers are advised to check the batch code and date marking on the back of the package. Those with a tree nut (almond) allergy should not consume this product due to the risk of an allergic reaction. If you have consumed this product and have concerns about your health, please seek medical advice immediately.

For customers without a tree nut (almond) allergy, this recall does not affect you, and the product is safe to consume. However, those with the allergy should return the product to the retailer for a full refund.
