The precautionary recall affects selected batches of Sweet and Sour Chicken, Butter Chicken, and Butter Chicken Panini products sold at the retailer’s Riccarton store.
The following chilled deli meals are included in the recall:
The affected products were sold chilled in plastic containers.
The recalled products were sold exclusively at Pak’n Save Riccarton in New Zealand.
The products have not been exported, and no other deli products sold at Pak’n Save Riccarton are affected by this recall.
Consumers are urged to check the packed-on and use-by dates on any affected products they may have purchased.
Customers should not consume the recalled meals, as glass contamination may pose a risk of injury. While no injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled products, anyone who has consumed them and is concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
Consumers can return the affected products to Pak’n Save Riccarton for a full refund.
