On 30 August 2025, Speirs Foods (2018) Limited issued a recall for several batches of its ready-to-eat salads, including Speirs Foods brand salads and Woolworths brand Classic Coleslaw, due to the potential presence of foreign matter (metal fragments). The affected products were distributed nationwide across Woolworths, Fresh Choice, New World, and Pak’nSave supermarkets in New Zealand.
