Pump Spring Water Recalled Across Australia Over Choking Hazard

November 7, 2026 Australia

Pump Water bottle of various flavours

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia Pty Ltd has recalled all Pump Spring Water products due to a packaging defect that could cause the white sipper to become dislodged, posing a potential choking hazard. The recall was published on 3 November 2026 and updated on 5 November 2026 by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

The affected products have been distributed nationally and sold through major supermarkets, including Woolworths and Coles, as well as independent retailers, petrol stations, convenience stores, newsagents, vending machines and online outlets.

Safety Risk

The packaging fault may cause the white drinking sipper to detach from the bottle during use. If dislodged, the component could present a choking hazard, particularly if accidentally swallowed.

Affected Products

The recall covers the following products:

  1. Super Pump Spring Water (1.25L): All best-before dates up to and including 22 January 2028.
  2. Pump Spring Water (750mL): All best-before dates up to and including 22 January 2028.
