What Consumers Should Do

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Outshine Fruit Bars should:

  • Check the batch code and best-before date on the bottom of the package.
  • Do not eat any product matching the recalled information.
  • Dispose of the affected product or return it to the place of purchase.
  • Do not serve the recalled products to others.
  • Contact a healthcare provider immediately if they are concerned about a possible injury from consuming the product.

Where Were the Products Sold?

Why This Recall Is Important

Unlike an allergen-related recall, this incident involves a physical contamination hazard. Glass contamination can be difficult to detect before consumption and can cause significant injury if swallowed.

Consumers should therefore avoid relying on the appearance of the product and should carefully check the batch code and best-before date against the recall information before consuming any affected Outshine Fruit Bars.
