
HelloFresh New Zealand Limited has recalled its HelloFresh Margherita-Style Pizza with Cherry Tomatoes & Basil Pesto (400g) due to the possible presence of undeclared cashews, posing a health risk to people with a cashew allergy.
The recall was announced on 23 July 2026 by New Zealand Food Safety.

No other HelloFresh products are affected by this recall.
The recalled pizza was supplied exclusively through HelloFresh food box deliveries and was distributed to customers across New Zealand between 18 and 22 July 2026.
The product was not exported.
The product is being recalled because it may contain undeclared cashews, an allergen that is not declared on the product label.
Undeclared allergens can pose a serious health risk to individuals with food allergies. At the time of the recall, one mild allergic reaction associated with the product had been reported.
Consumers who have a cashew allergy should not consume the recalled pizza.
