
Eunha Fisheries Co. Ltd. of Busan, Republic of Korea, has recalled selected frozen Korean sashimi products after it was found that the accompanying soy sauce and vinegar red pepper paste packets did not declare the presence of wheat, soy, and sesame in English on the individual condiment packets.
People with allergies or severe sensitivities to wheat, soy, or sesame may experience serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the affected products.

The recalled products were distributed in the United States through WOOLTARI USA Inc. and JAYONE FOODS Inc. They were sold through retail stores, direct delivery, and the Wooltari USA online store.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the individual soy sauce and vinegar red pepper paste packets did not list allergens in English, despite the allergens being declared on the outer packaging. This labeling issue could pose a significant health risk to consumers with food allergies.
As of the recall announcement, no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported in connection with the affected products.
Consumers with allergies to wheat, soy, or sesame should not consume the recalled products. They should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
