
Nestlé Australia Ltd. has announced a nationwide recall of its ALLEN’S iNSiDE OUTS 130g confectionery product due to the possible presence of plastic foreign matter.
The recalled product was distributed nationally and sold through major retailers, including Coles, Woolworths, IGA stores, independent retailers, convenience stores, and petrol stations.
The recall applies to ALLEN’S iNSiDE OUTS 130g packs with a best-before date of 30 June 2027 and the following batch numbers: 6072T941, 6073T941, 6074T941, 6075T941, 6085T941, 6086T941, and 6088T941.
According to the company, the recall was initiated after the potential presence of plastic pieces was identified in the product. Food products contaminated with plastic may pose a choking hazard or cause illness and injury if consumed.
Consumers are advised not to eat the affected product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone concerned about their health after consuming the product should seek medical advice.
