A widespread food recall linked to possible Salmonella contamination has impacted dozens of popular snack and frozen food products across the United States, prompting warnings for consumers to check their pantries, refrigerators, and freezers.

The ingredient was reportedly used in seasonings and flavoring blends found in multiple brand-name products.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall has expanded to include chips, popcorn products, trail mixes, frozen pizzas, cheese curds, seasonings, pork rinds, and chocolate beverage powders sold nationwide.
Ghirardelli has recalled multiple chocolate and frappe powder products, including:

Separately, the FDA recently announced a recall involving multiple flavors of Spring & Mulberry chocolates due to possible Salmonella contamination. Officials noted that the recall may be connected to a date ingredient supplier, though it remains unclear whether there is any direct link to the California Dairies recall.
Although no illnesses or injuries have been reported so far, health officials warn that contaminated products may still be stored in homes or retail locations. Consumers are advised not to consume the affected products and should either discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
