Electric City Sweets, headquartered in Scranton, PA, has announced a voluntary recall of its Red Velvet Milk Chocolate Bars. The recall is initiated due to the presence of undeclared milk in the product, posing a potential risk to individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities.
The decision to recall the affected product follows a consumer report to the retailer, indicating an oversight in the ingredient statement. These Red Velvet Milk Chocolate Bars were distributed through online ordering at Electric City Sweets.com and various wholesale accounts across several states, including Scranton, PA; Milford, PA; Delray Beach, FL; Marina Del Rey, CA; Orlando, FL; and North Carolina.
