PT Organics Limited has recalled Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry Fruit Puree Pouches (4 oz) due to the possible presence of soft food-grade plastic pieces caused by a packaging defect.

The recall was initiated because of an internal packaging defect that may result in a strand of soft, food-grade plastic being present inside some pouches.
According to PT Organics Limited, the issue was identified after its packaging supplier recalled a production run of defective pouches. The company subsequently inspected finished products packaged in the affected pouches and confirmed that a small number contained strands of soft plastic attached to the inside of the packaging.
While the plastic identified is food-grade, its unintended presence in the product presents a physical contamination hazard, particularly for infants and young children who commonly consume fruit puree pouches.
As of the recall announcement, no injuries or adverse events have been reported.
