Popsicles Sold In 4 States Recalled Over 'Life-Threatening' Allergy Risks - Newsweek

DE DIOS’S ICE POPS II LLC has voluntarily recalled its D’Dioses Fruit Pops products due to the presence of undeclared allergens, including milk, pecans, pistachios, Yellow #5, and Red #40.

The recall affects 3.7-ounce fruit popsicles distributed to retail grocery stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Consumers with allergies or sensitivities to these ingredients may face serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the affected products.

According to the company, the recall applies to all units of the following flavors produced before April 27, 2026:

  • Coco
  • Fresa con Leche
  • Arroz con Leche
  • Mamey
  • Guayaba
  • Vainilla
  • Rompope
  • Nuez
  • Pistachio
  • Cookies and Cream
  • Piña Colada
  • Limón
  • Grocella
  • Mango
  • Tamarindo
  • Nanche

The issue was identified following an FDA inspection, which found that manufacturing processes required improvements to prevent allergen cross-contact. In response, the company implemented updated allergen-control measures and revised production procedures. Products manufactured after April 27, 2026, are not included in the recall and were produced under the new safety protocols.

No illnesses or adverse reactions related to the recalled products have been reported to date.

Consumers who have purchased the affected fruit pops are advised not to consume them and should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
