
Australian confectionery retailer Coffee Works has issued a recall for multiple chocolate products after the presence of an undeclared milk allergen was identified on certain product labels.
The recall was announced on 2 April 2026 and applies to products sold at Coffee Works Gourmet Stores in Queensland and through online sales distributed nationally across Australia.
The affected products may contain milk that is not declared on the ingredient label. Undeclared allergens are considered a significant food safety risk, particularly for individuals with allergies or intolerance.
Consumers with milk allergy or intolerance may experience allergic reactions if they consume the products.
The recall applies to the following products with “Used By” dates up to and including 30 December 2026:
The products were packaged in clear wrappers labeled with Coffee Works branding.
The recalled chocolate products were available for purchase at Coffee Works Gourmet Stores in Queensland and through the company’s online platform supplying customers nationwide in Australia.
Consumers who have milk allergies or intolerance are advised not to consume the affected products.
Customers should return the products to the place of purchase to obtain a full refund. Individuals who have already consumed the product and experience symptoms of an allergic reaction are advised to seek medical advice.
