JCJ WA Pty Ltd has announced a nationwide recall of several Miss Chow’s branded sauces due to the presence of undeclared allergens – wheat and nuts. The recall affects a range of popular condiments sold across independent retailers in New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD), Victoria (VIC), South Australia (SA), and Western Australia (WA).
The recall was initiated after it was found that the affected products may contain undeclared wheat and nuts, ingredients not listed on the product labels. This poses a serious health risk to individuals with wheat or nut allergies or intolerances, potentially leading to allergic reactions if consumed.
Consumers with wheat and/or nut allergies are urged not to consume the affected products. Ingesting these allergens unknowingly could trigger symptoms ranging from mild irritation to severe allergic responses.
Do not consume the recalled sauces if you have a wheat or nut allergy or intolerance.
Return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Those who have experienced any health issues after consumption are advised to seek medical advice immediately.
JCJ WA Pty Ltd has expressed regret over the incident and is working closely with food safety authorities to ensure proper corrective measures.
