ALDI Stores Pty Ltd has issued a recall for several Fresh Salad Co brand spinach and stir fry products due to potential contamination with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC). These products were sold in ALDI Stores across Queensland and select stores in Northern New South Wales, including locations in Tweed Heads South, Ballina, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Casino, Toormina, Armidale, Byron Bay, Goonellabah, Tweed Mall, and Moonee Beach.

STEC contamination can lead to serious foodborne illness. Symptoms may include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea (which may be bloody), vomiting, and fever. In some cases, infection can lead to hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a severe condition affecting the kidneys.
Do not eat any of the recalled products.
Return the affected items to the place of purchase for a full refund.
