Metal Pieces Prompt Recall of Holiday Kielbasa Sausages in the U.S.

December 21, 2025

Olympia Provisions of Portland, Oregon, has issued a recall of approximately 1,930 pounds of ready-to-eat holiday kielbasa sausages after a consumer complaint reported the presence of metal fragments in the product, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

FSIS has expressed concern that some of the affected products may still be stored in consumer refrigerators or freezers. As a precaution, consumers who purchased the recalled kielbasa are urged not to consume it.
