Two types of Milk Trays have been pulled from shelves in the UK due to cardboard packaging issues that are harming the quality of the chocolates. Mondelez, which owns Cadbury, claims that the affected boxes include the 180g and 360g sizes purchased before November 2. Around seven weeks ago, the business began removing the product from shelves.

Customers who were dissatisfied with the flavor of the chocolates turned to social media to complain about the products. According to them, when they opened a box of milk trays and it was so chemically and they advised not to buy the chocolate as it taste like plastic/chemical.

According to a Mondelez spokesperson: We are currently updating the packaging and creating new stock for our retailers. We apologize to our retailers and customers for any difficulty or disappointment this has caused. Other Milk Tray sizes, such as the 78g and 530g cartons, were not affected.
