
Several made-in-store bread products from Pak’n Save Moorhouse have been recalled due to the possible presence of foreign matter (metal). The recall was announced on 23 March 2026 following notification from New Zealand Food Safety.
The recall applies to the following Pak’n Save Moorhouse made-in-store bread products with the Best Before date: 17 March 2026:
All affected products were packed in clear plastic packaging.
The products were sold only at Pak’n Save Moorhouse. Authorities confirmed that the products were not exported.
The recall was initiated because the products may contain metal fragments, which could pose a safety risk if consumed.
Consumers are advised to check the best-before date on the packaging. Affected products should not be consumed. Although no injuries have been reported, anyone who has eaten the product and experiences health concerns should seek medical advice.
Customers can return the affected products to the store for a full refund.
