Idaho Smokehouse Partners LLC has issued a recall for 29,541 pounds of ready-to-eat beef sticks after two consumers reported finding metal pieces in the product. The recall, announced on March 20, 2025, affects beef sticks that were produced in January 2025 and have an expiration date of February 10, 2026.
The recalled beef sticks were shipped to retail stores in California and Illinois.
This recall was initiated after consumers found metal fragments in the product, which poses a risk of choking, dental injury, or gastrointestinal issues if consumed.
Foreign objects like metal, plastic, or wood can enter food during production and pose serious health risks, including mouth injuries and digestive complications. Anyone experiencing discomfort after consuming the recalled product should contact a healthcare provider immediately.
