The recall affects Ore-Ida and Sysco Imperial brand frozen potato products that were distributed across 26 U.S. states, posing a potential choking or injury risk to consumers.
The FDA stated that the recalled products may contain plastic fragments, which could cause mouth injuries or gastrointestinal harm if consumed. No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
Approximately 21,000 cases are included in the recall.
