ALDI recalls Hillcrest Bubble Bars over black rubber contamination

Thee packs of Bubble Bars from the brand Hillcrest

ALDI has issued a recall for several Hillcrest Bubble Bars products after the possible presence of foreign matter (black rubber pieces) was identified.

The affected products were sold at ALDI stores across multiple Australian states, including New South Wales (NSW), Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Victoria (VIC), Queensland (QLD), South Australia (SA), and Western Australia (WA).

The recall applies to the following products under the Hillcrest label:

  1. Hillcrest Bubble Bars Choc Rainbow – 132 g
  2. Hillcrest Bubble Bars Birthday Cake – 132 g
  3. Hillcrest Bubble Bars Choc Chip – 132 g
  4. Date marking: Best Before 08 September 2026

Reason for recall

The products are being recalled due to the presence of foreign material identified as black rubber pieces.
