Deano’s Pasta has issued an allergy alert for Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli after the product was found to contain undeclared lobster, a crustacean shellfish allergen.
The company announced the recall on September 24, 2026, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published the alert the same day.
The recall involves approximately 20 pounds of Deano’s Pasta Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli. The product was sold frozen in 1-pound bags and distributed through retail stores in Massachusetts between August 10 and September 22, 2026.

People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to crustacean shellfish, including lobster, could experience a serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled ravioli.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall followed a customer complaint that prompted an internal audit. The company discovered that ravioli containing lobster had been packaged in materials that did not declare the allergen.
According to Deano’s Pasta, the issue was linked to a temporary breakdown in its production and packaging processes.
Consumers who purchased the affected Deano’s Pasta Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli should not consume the product.
The recalled ravioli should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
