A batch of Chef Select Carbonara Pasta Bake (1 kg) has been recalled after it was discovered that some packs were sold without a use-by date printed on the packaging. The recall affects a small portion of products that were sold in March.
According to the food safety alert, the correct use-by date for the affected batch is 09 April 2026. Products without any use-by date on the packaging may therefore pose a food safety risk if consumed after this date.
The product was manufactured in Austria and sold through Lidl stores, where recall notices are now being displayed to inform customers.
