Dunnes Stores has announced an urgent recall of several cheese products and products containing cheese due to the possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products have been manufactured by or contain ingredients from Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese in the Republic of Ireland and are sold in Northern Ireland.
The recall applies to the following products:
The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause symptoms similar to the flu, such as:
High temperature, Muscle ache or pain, Chills, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea
In severe cases, listeria infection can lead to serious health complications such as meningitis.

Dunnes Stores is recalling all affected products. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Northern Ireland retail stores that sell these products. These notices will inform customers about the recall and provide guidance on what to do.
