Prepworld has recalled multiple ready-to-eat fruit products sold through major UK retailers after testing detected Salmonella in apple and kiwi used in the products. The recall affects selected fruit packs sold at Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Marks & Spencer (M&S), Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose with specific use-by dates in June 2026. According to the company, the affected products may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacterium that can cause foodborne illness. Symptoms typically include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.
